In recent years, Windsor Fair has become one of the premier agricultural fairs in Maine.  Many people ask the reason for such growth?  My response has been and will continue to be, the tremendously dedicated board of trustees, department heads, sponsors and volunteers who spend so much of their valuable time and effort to make our fair successful.

We attempt to make our fair interesting, educational, enjoyable and affordable for the whole family.  In addition, we work very hard to keep our fairgrounds clean and attractive.  Available funds are invested each year in new structures or the enhancement of necessary utilities.  

This year we plan to continue the expansion of our parking lots and install a new livestock camping area.  We are also painting the bleachers in the grandstand, providing more internet service and upgrading some electrical panels.  By fair time, we anticipate changing the Gate 5 entrance area to allow better and safer traffic flow.  As always, many smaller projects and improvements will be made.  

By fair time, you will hear more about the new Agricultural Education Center.  We’re excited about the possibilities as we move on in the planning process.  

On behalf of the trustees, I’d like to thank the various vendors, exhibitors and especially the general public for their support of Windsor Fair .  With your participation, the fair will continue to grow and become even more of a showcase for Maine agriculture.
